My 2 Best Kids

There is much to catch up on and yet I am not taking the time to do so. Instead I am just posting a few photos of our precious little ones....and maybe one day I will catch up....or Gary will do it for me...???

at Graysen's 2 month appointment he weighed 12 lbs 7 oz and was 23 in long...growing "like a weed", but no worries, we won't pull him and throw him out any time soon.
(note the cute little mole on his leg)

sleeping...like a baby, of course

he doesn't just sleep all day (just most of it). In fact, he is very smiley when he is awake. He especially loves to smile at his big sister. But isn't he precious when he's asleep?

Kyri's getting big too...and mean. She loves to do things to Graysen she knows will hurt him. Just today she said, "Sorry, Gaysen" right before she smacked him with something!

But how can she stay in trouble for long when she is SO stinkin cute?!

Kyri now likes to say "here a go, Kyri" when we are giving her something...it makes me laugh.

The other day Kyri was repeatedly throwing hot glue gun glue sticks at Graysen and every time she threw one she would say, "sorry, G man, (throw), sorry G man...."

Kyri loves to help with the dishes. And since this is one of my dreaded household chores (we don't have a dishwasher), then I gladly accept her help. She stands on a chair next to me. I wash, she rinses and puts (throws) the dishes in the "drainer". She does pretty good until she gets distracted and starts drinking the hot water from the clean dishes, she ends up sopping wet, the dishes get done, and everyone is happy!

Don't we have the 2 best (and cutest, mind you) kids ever?!?!

serious sun, shades, and smiles

We finally got Kyri some new sunglasses, and, of course, I couldn't resist a new hat! So here she is sporting her new stuff!

You didn't think we'd leave our little man out, did you?

Going on walks is about as far as I go with these two, but we all LOVE it!! And, of course, I have the cutest kids in the neighborhood, so it makes it that much more enjoyable to show them off! :)

Graysen loves to smile, but it's hard to snap the camera at just the right time...this time we got lucky! Cutest little man I know!!
Some of our favorite things Kyri says: "hoppertopper" (helicopter)
"here a go, mamma" or "here a go, daddy"
"bless you, Graysen....maaaaaannn"
She tells us that at church she learns about "Monson, Jesus, and Temples" and lately when we ask her what she had dreams about it's usually "birdies" and "Jesus"
Her friends in nursery are "Mawy (Molly)....2 Mawies"
When she sees Graysen she will get right up in his face and say, "Hey, man! Hey, maaaannnn!!"
And, of course, our favorite: "lub you"

Oh Blessed Day

On Sunday we blessed Graysen. It was the most perfect day! It rained a lot in the morning and we had the opportunity to go to Logan (to our old ward) for baby Rylee's baby blessing. She is SO precious and born only a few days before Graysen. We then all made our way back to Kaysville for Graysen's blessing. By the afternoon the rain was gone and we even saw some sun! Gary gave Graysen the most beautiful blessing from our Father in Heaven. How grateful I am to be married to a man worthy to hold the priesthood and give such blessings to our children! Afterwards we all gathered at our tiny little place to enjoy a bit of food before everyone made the long trek back to their homes. Thank you SO much to everyone who came and made this such a special day for our special little family! I have decided that the only thing that would have made this day more perfect would have been to have all of Gary's and my siblings there...we missed you!

All of us. Picture is courtesy of my nephew Karson...I might have to see if my parent's pictures turned out better :)

Graysen in his blessing tux that Grandma Allen made for him. We are SO lucky to have Gary's mom so willing to make such amazing outfits! He is clearly not happy in this photo, but he really was good all day. We just didn't have time to take pictures before and he was a little hungry by this time. Hopefully when we go to our family reunion next week Amber can take some "real" pictures of him in this cute tux, just like she did Kyri in her blessing dress. (?) Again, how did I get so lucky to have so many talented people in my "new" family?!

This picture makes me smile. It was quite the barbeque!! Thanks Pops and Brad!

Rylee on her special blessing day too! I didn't get a picture of her in the dress Grandma Allen made because we didn't have time to go over to Dustin and Cassidy's house before coming back for Graysen's blessing...but she was absolutely beautiful!!
