The other night I was at a Relief Society activity. I was talking to my friend, Kate, who also happens to be the kid's preschool teacher. Kate asked me what Graysen is going to be for Halloween. I told her I wasn't sure yet. She told me that at school, earlier that day, all the kids were talking about what they wanted to be for Halloween. Through her giggles, this is the story she told: each kid was taking turns saying what they are going to be for Halloween. It was Ms. Kate's turn. She told the kids she is going to be a witch. A nice witch, though, not a mean one. She told them she will have a black hat and her dress will also be black. Another girl, when it was her turn, said she is also going to be a witch. Ms. Kate asked, "What color is your hat?" "Black." "Oh, what color is your dress?" "Black." Just like Ms. Kate. CUTE! Well, when it was Graysen's turn he told the class that he is going to be a witch too! "What color is your hat?" asked Ms. Kate. "Black." "Oh, what color is your dress?" Graysen said, "PINK!" And was quite serious about it! Hahaha....not sure why he thinks he wants to be a witch with a pink dress, but I'm pretty sure that's not gonna happen. A week or so ago he told me he wants to be a house for Halloween....hmmm....not sure that's gonna work out either....I'm thinking more along the lines of Buzz Lightyear or Spiderman.....does this make me a bad mom?
