With the presidential elections coming up we decided to do a bit of a poll ourselves (you will find the question on the right sidebar)...to prepare you for the much bigger event. But take to heart that this poll is a MUCH easier decision, with a no-fail outcome. If only we could say that about the upcoming...

And since your vote is completely anonymous it's ok to vote truthfully (and one of us will even be grateful to have you on our side)! At the bottom of the poll it shows how many people have voted and also how many days are left to vote...you better get it in before the deadline...but that part is really hard to read and we couldn't figure out how to change the font color...but, all you have to do if you're just dying to view those numbers is highlight it with your cursor....sorry we know of no other way at this point in time.

Nice Hat

I was going through Kyri's clothes today, boxing up those that no longer fit her (our 5 month is finally starting to grow out of 0-3 month clothing) and decided to see which hats still fit and which ones are too small. This hat was so cute on her...and so spring-ish...I couldn't resist.

First Walk in the New Year

We decided we better take advantage of the 43 degree weather and go for a walk! It was so beautiful AND sunny outside. Yes, we still have a little snow on the ground, but that didn't stop us from a good time! I used to take Kyri for walks when she was a newborn, but then it got way too cold. And it's been so cold, every time we go outside we always cover Kyri's car seat with a blanket....so this walk was a lot for her to take in. She loved every minute of it and took in the crisp goodness of the outside world!

This was so funny!

So Kyri's been rolling from her tummy to her back for about a month now, but it's only been a week since she's been rolling from her back to her tummy. And yesterday it was all she could think about. EVERY time I put her down she would immediately roll over onto her tummy....even when I put her down for her naps. But for some reason it was as if she forgot that she still knows how to roll onto her back and she usually ended up crying about being on her tummy. That, however, didn't stop her from rolling back over once I helped her turn onto her back. At this particular time she was too exhausted to even function...or so I thought. I put her down for her nap and I could hear her in her room blabbering (normal at nap time) and then I heard the giggles (not so normal at nap time)...so I decided I better scope out the situation. Well, there was Kyri on her tummy, laughing at herself, thinking she's so funny! And she thought it was even funnier that she could see me over her bumper.

CEREAL TIME

We started Kyri on cereal at 4 months. She loves it and has really chunked up since then. These photos are when we first started the cereal...before we got her highchair
